WICO, seated in Pirmasens, Germany, is a specialist for textile coating and lamination.
Founded in 1991, WICO offers many years of know-how and professional service orientation in the sector of contract coating and lamination. The company with about 25 employees can refer to a longstanding customer contact in different industry sectors.

Technology

Lamination is a method of joining two or more textile substrates to form a pair of multilayered pieces of material. More than 20 years of experience in textile coating and the lamination of adhesives as well as in the use of the latest process technology help us to be part of the most control solution for our customers.,

FLATBED LAMINATION

Via our flatbed calendar lamination, materials are joined gently with each other by use of hotmelt webs or films.

POWDER SCATTERING

The thermoplastic hotmelt powder is scattered evenly and fixed on the surface by use of pressure and temperature.

ROLL COATING & LAMINATION

Coating of textiles with hotmelt adhesives. A variety of possible application grids and plain films can be applied.

PROCESSING & CUTTING

Trimming and cutting of the coated and laminated products to the desired roll sizes; also includes an inspection.

WICO has developed very positively in recent years. Started as a supplier for shoe textiles in the 90s, we have also made the leap into other industries, e.g. filtration, construction and automotive. The successful implementation of ISO 9001 in 2015 significantly increased the quality of internal processes and structures. Highly qualified and motivated professionals in our departments work with dedication to constantly improve ourselves. The machinery is constantly being modernized.
